Set up fund
Dear Friends,
Here is a quick update on the ministry. The Lord has blessed us, and several new churches have agreed to support us. Praise the Lord for this.
As our time for deputation ends and we get ready to move to Macedonia, we need to start planning for the costs. I am working with a lawyer, and we have a 37-step plan for all the needed documents and details for moving and living in the country long term. The fastest way to get permanent residence is to establish a business there. This new business is on paper and does not have to be active in generating income; it just needs to file taxes. We will set up a digital marketing agency. We also need an active address to receive mail. This address is crucial for owning a car, living, and working in the country. Macedonia does not have a “religious” visa, so this is the best option for staying there long-term. It will cost about $10,000 to establish the business. The lawyer is giving me a discount because she is a Christian and was referred to me by another brother. God truly directed our paths to her.
Once we are established (which takes 3-5 months; if it takes longer than 3 months, we must leave the country), we can buy a car. This will cost between $7,000 and $9,000. As you know, things often cost more and take longer than planned. I am setting a goal of $40,000 to cover the cost of renting a home and office space (business address) for the first church plant. I plan to hit the ground running, including hosting another mission trip. Part of the $40,000 will cover the printing of tracts and 2,000 coloring books that were very popular on our last trip.
I am planning for 16 spots on the trip, which will be from May 26th to June 6th, 2025. I am praying for a few preteens/teens to join the trip with their parents, focusing on Reaching Children with the Gospel. As you can see, there is a lot going on, and I ask for your prayers.
To help raise the needed funds for the $40,000 setup, I have offered to help churches with their Facebook ads outreach. The Lord has given me a background in digital marketing, and I want to use these skills to help fund the ministry. If you can give to the fund, I have a link on our website for donations. All of these donations will go toward the $40,000 goal, and I will keep you updated as the Lord provides. If your church is not currently using Facebook to reach your community you are missing out it is a powerful tool! I will also be using Facebook to reach people in Europe!
Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
Jason
