This book is written for those who are considering the calling of missions and the process of deputation. Perhaps the Lord has been speaking to your heart about going into all the world to preach the gospel, but you are uncertain about what it truly means to raise support for this work. In this booklet, I draw from my own experiences and share several practical tips and tricks for raising the funds necessary to become a missionary. Moreover, I delve into the Scriptures to see what the Bible says about living in a foreign field and raising support.
The Bible teaches us that it is our duty as believers to spread the gospel message to all nations. In Mark 16:15, Jesus commands His disciples, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Similarly, in Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus instructs His followers to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Therefore, if you feel that the Lord is calling you to be a missionary, do not be afraid to pursue this calling. Seek the Lord's guidance, study His Word, and trust in His provision. He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) as you obey His call to go and preach the gospel to all nations.
